Welcome to the Smarsh SDR inbound phone form.

We designed this form to automate as much as the inbound phone process as possible. All you need to do is enter the email address of the person who called in to the right, and then Pardot will run completion actions to trigger an MQL, as well as log a completed task, add the prospect to a Salesforce campaign, and populate the fields we need for tracking (Lead Source, Lead Source Detail, Last MQL Reason, Last MQL Detail).

What to do:

While you’re on the phone with the prospect, make sure to gather the following pieces of information:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Phone
  • Email address

Search for the prospect in Salesforce. If you can’t find their record, make sure you also gather the additional info from them while they’re on the phone.

  • Number of employees
  • Industry (PubSector or not)
  • State

If they already have a Salesforce lead or contact record:

  • Copy their email address and paste it into this form. Hit submit.
  • It might take a couple minutes, but Pardot will sync with the prospect’s Salesforce record and run all completion actions.
  • Once this is done, move the lead to the appropriate status (3. Working, 3.5 Engaged, 4. Qualified and convert).

If they don’t have a Salesforce record:

  • Create a new lead for the prospect.
  • Enter the information you collected from the prospect into the appropriate fields. Save the record.
  • Hit the “Send to Pardot” button at the top of the lead record once it’s been created. This will trigger a corresponding record to be created in Pardot.
  • Copy their email address and paste it into this form. Hit submit.
  • It might take a couple minutes, but Pardot will sync with the prospect’s Salesforce record and run all completion actions.
  • Once this is done, move the lead to the appropriate status (3. Working, 3.5 Engaged, 4. Qualified and convert).
