Getting Started with Smarsh
The Smarsh onboarding process is easy – here are the steps
For organizations with multiple branch offices or independent business units, Smarsh has built an industry-leading archiving service that is purpose-built for the specific business needs of such organizational structures.
- Group Master: The Group Master is the “Parent” in a parent-child relationship and is typically the headquarters or lead office. Group Masters are on-boarded as would be typical for any customer.
- Group: A Group is the child in the parent-child relationship and is typically a branch office or sub-unit of the parent organization. Branch offices are on-boarded using web-based, customized sign up forms where headquarters or each branch can enroll and select the desired services for that specific group.
As a Group Master, you control the security rights of each branch (group). Groups cannot access content of another branch. The Group Master can access branch content if that structure is desired.
A consolidated invoice is sent to the Group Master for all branch office usage.
