A better archiving solution for all your communications

Salesforce Chatter®Salesforce Chatter®

Many organizations would like to take advantage of the increased cross-department collaboration and employee engagement that Chatter brings, but have been stymied by their inability to meet compliance or e-discovery obligations. Smarsh enables organizations to archive and produce Chatter files and communications in support of compliance, recordkeeping and e-discovery initiatives.

Built in concert with the product team, Chatter content is ingested in its native format. Smarsh preserves and indexes each unique element or related object of a messaging type, rather than flattening or shoehorning non-email messages into the body of an email. By ingesting data intelligently, Smarsh introduces a series of advantages to the search and review process. The Archiving Platform also provides a contextual view – meaning users can view the full context of the conversation including comments and files added subsequently to the original post.

“The best part about it is that you can forget about it. Chatter communications are saved on to the Smarsh platform, along with our email, and when we need it we can go pull it down.“
~ Salesforce Admin, Financial Services Firm

“A number of our employees and reps have been asking for Chatter for a long time. Due to the perceived increase in workload from a surveillance standpoint, we had been reluctant to add. Smarsh’s Archiving for Salesforce Chatter has proven that our fears were overblown. Setting up the Chatter Archiving feature was simple and the surveillance has been easier than we imagined. We are very impressed with this feature.“
~Will Brand, Triad Advisors, Inc.

“Our firm is very pleased with Smarsh’s archiving and supervision system for Chatter. Implementing the system was quick and thorough. If your firm is already using Smarsh for email archiving your teams will have a very easy transition to supervising Chatter. The system is easy to use and we have not encountered any problems.“
