Stephen Marsh
Founder and Chairman
Founder and Chair Stephen Marsh grew Smarsh into a leader in the enterprise information archiving industry. Previously, he led product management at CCBN (now Thomson Financial) and held key roles at Fidelity Investments and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He holds a degree in Information Management and Technology and Economics from Syracuse University.
Kim Crawford Goodman
Chief Executive Officer
Kim Crawford Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of Smarsh, oversees strategy and operations for its leading-edge technologies (cloud-native, AI, and integrated platforms) to enable clients to reduce risk and meet their compliance requirements. She has deep experience managing global businesses and customer relationships. Kim holds degrees in Engineering and Political Science from Stanford and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
April Lindauer
General Counsel
April Lindauer, General Counsel at Smarsh, brings more than 20 years of experience advising organizations and leading teams through complex legal and regulatory matters. She provides strategic counsel across the business, helping navigate risk in an evolving compliance landscape. April holds an A.B. in Psychology from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Goutam Nadella
Chief Strategy Officer
Goutam Nadella is Chief Strategy Officer at Smarsh, where he focuses on driving long-term market expansion and strategic partnerships as the company scales its global footprint. Formerly Smarsh’s Chief Product Officer, Nadella spent four years architecting the company’s platform vision and advancing its product strategy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute and a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Ian Goodkind
Chief Financial Officer
Ian Goodkind, Chief Financial Officer at Smarsh, brings deep expertise in scaling public companies and driving value creation. Most recently, he served as CFO at Jamf, where he led finance through rapid growth, strategic acquisitions, and the largest IPO in Minnesota history. Ian has extensive experience in SEC reporting, capital strategy, and operational scalability. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Drake University.
Kamesh Tumsi
Chief Product Officer
Kamesh Tumsi, Chief Product Officer at Smarsh, shapes the company’s product strategy and innovation roadmap. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Product at HealthEquity. Kamesh brings extensive experience leading product, strategy, and user experience across fintech and consumer tech organizations, including Marqeta, Fiserv, Turner, and Microsoft. He holds 11 patents and earned a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
Lanika Mamac
GM, Public Sector Business
Lanika Mamac is the GM of Smarsh Public Sector business, leading secure, compliant communications for government agencies. Since joining in 2015, she expanded the company's public sector footprint and sales teams, surpassing growth targets. Previously, she led inside sales at Symantec for the Western U.S.
Niki Cook
Chief Human Resources Officer
Niki Cook serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Smarsh, bringing extensive experience scaling high-growth technology and fintech organizations. She previously served as Vice President of Human Resources at Worldpay, partnering with executive leaders to build high-performing teams and align people strategy to business outcomes. Niki is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and holds a B.B.A. in Business Management from Georgia State University.
Rohit Khanna

He has led global customer success for cloud software firms, serving diverse clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Rohit holds a bachelor’s from San Francisco State University and a master’s from the University of San Francisco School of Management.

Tom Padgett is the President of Smarsh Enterprise business, serving global banks and financial firms. Formerly the Chief Revenue Officer at Smarsh and SVP at SAP, where he led Ariba and Analytics, he’s skilled at scaling B2B organizations with strong growth records. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University Bloomington.
