Make teamwork simple with compliant, secure collaboration

Financial services firms are required to capture voice conversations, however, without the right solution in place to govern its usage, the popularity of platforms like RedBox Recorders opens enterprises up to risk. Smarsh provides customers with existing recording systems with the ability to automatically export, enrich, and archive all communications occurring within on-premise recording systems, including call recordings and call recording metadata to enable:

  • Comprehensive compliance including voice content: RedBox Recorders messages and voice content can be archived alongside all other electronic communications content. Policy controls can be applied at a global level to help meet regulatory mandates including those of FINRA, the SEC and MiFID II as well as legal and corporate obligations.
  • Supervision and protection for RedBox’s content: Content can be inspected to identify the leakage of sensitive information, suspicious behavior and / or abusive language. Administrators can review policies that flag keywords across messages to pinpoint any violations.
  • Automatic archiving and fast, effective supervision and e-discovery: Smarsh Capture integrates seamlessly with the Smarsh Enterprise Archive, a secure and context-aware data store. This enables accurate, fast and highly effective search, supervision, e-discovery and case management. Content can also be exported to any third-party archive, app, or data lake of your choice.
  • End-to-end security: Whether data is in transit or at rest.

Key Features

API driven Capture

Direct source capture (text and voice)

Smarsh captures content directly from the RedBox Recorders app via bulk export, from the recording system, using the recording system’s export feature and sent to the archive as a wave or .mp3 file. Content is captured in its native format and chain of custody is preserved.
Messagethreading&directionality

Message threading and attachments

All voice messages are retained in full context. Message threading displays conversations as they originally happened for ease of and more powerful review.
Capturing communications in full and in context

Contextual capture

Smarsh captures all content in full conversational context for the best visibility into what happened and when. Attachments can be viewed or downloaded in context in their original form.
