Your privacy is important to Smarsh. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Smarsh and its U.S. and EU subsidiaries Mobileguard LLC, Actiance, Inc. and Cognia Cloud Ltd. (collectively, “We”, “Our”, “Us”) collect, use, process, and disclose personal information. We may update this Policy from time to time. In response to the “Schrems II” decision issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union, Smarsh withdrew from the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, effective November 13, 2020.
California Consumer Privacy Act
We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), effective January 1, 2020, which affords California residents new rights with respective to their personal information. These rights, limited by the statute and explained below, are as follows:
