This dedicated team of Smarsh professionals has a deep understanding of The Archiving Platform, and will perform efficient and thorough data extraction on your firm’s behalf. When you sign up for the Audit Assist program, your data production request is immediately expedited. Audit Assist also aligns with requirements outlined by the financial services industry regulators, and can greatly reduce the burden during examination time, so you can focus on the priorities that only your team can handle.

How does the program work?

Audit Assist is a fee-based service that runs concurrently with your Arching Platform subscription. You simply pay a low monthly rate for the service over the course of the year – making audit preparation an affordable planned expense.

Firms receive up to five hours of time with a Smarsh professional who will work with you to satisfy the requirements of your audit request, and produce the date you need to successfully navigate an examination.

For firms that experience a high volume of audits or examinations each year (or more lengthy audit/examination processes), multiple Audit Assist subscriptions can be purchased. This provides your organization with the extra coverage it needs to handle several data requests, with additional support from Smarsh.

How is data extracted when using Audit Assist?

During your regulatory exam, Smarsh professionals search for and produce data directly from your Archiving Platform content, according to your audit request specifications. Legacy data that you have imported into The Archiving Platform can also be produced. We then provide the requested data directly to you or to the regulator, based on what’s been defined in the Audit Assist request.
